🎯 Target audience : Local authorities, public establishments, research organizations, emerging players (under 12 years old) whose activity strictly meets a need falling within a local authority’s remit.

Expected projects (single-partner or consortium) are technology demonstrators based primarily on data science and artificial intelligence, responding to local issues. The aim of these demonstrators will be to use energy- and/or data-efficient AI to meet the environmental challenges and objectives of local authorities and the public services or collective interests for which they are responsible. In concrete terms, projects must enable the steering and/or operational management of territorial public policies thanks to artificial intelligence and/or the creation of new innovative services.

The maximum project duration is 36 months. The main selection criteria are as follows

– technological criterion and demonstration of the preponderance of data science / AI in the project
– functional interest
– innovation criterion
– frugality criteria
– transparency, explicability and interpretability criteria

Financement : Projects must have a minimum budget of €600K. Funded projects will receive between 25% and 80% of the project budget, depending on the type of company and type of research (between 45% and 80% for small companies, between 35% and 75% for medium-sized companies, and between 25% and 65% for large companies). For local authorities, public establishments and similar bodies, the aid intensity is 50% of full costs, and for research organizations, the aid intensity is either 50% of full costs or 100% of marginal costs.
